General common law.

Crime

Both prosecution and defence work undertaken: Has been instructed to prosecute Crown Court cases including wounding, arson and witness intimidation. Defence work has included drugs supply, serious assault and burglary.

Frequently instructed to prosecute lengthy or complex Magistrates' Court trials. Notable cases include:

Successful prosecution of two youths for wounding and affray;

Successful prosecution of two youths for child abduction.

Member of KBW Police Law Team, covering Closure Order hearings, Football Banning Orders and applications made under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

Grade 2 CPS Prosecutor.

Civil

Has been instructed to represent both claimants and defendants in small claim and fast track hearings in the County Court. Extensive experience of Consumer Credit Act and mortgage repossessions hearings.
