important role in the training and education of barristers and
others. He is an accredited advocacy trainer.

Areas of Practice Has particular experience of cases
involving child witnesses and others with special needs and has
prosecuted the first case in England involving a witness with
Aspergers Syndrome (who also had other significant psychological
difficulties). Prosecutes and defends in all forms of serious
criminal cases involving homicide, fraud, sexually related crime,
and child abuse (with particular expertise in the medical aspects of
this work). Has covered the whole spectrum of personal injury and
general civil litigation. Also judicial review and family law (with
particular emphasis on child welfare).
